Identity and history
Confirm the exact variant, year, kilometres and seller. Ask what service records exist and whether accident, import or repair history is known. Missing records are uncertainty to consider, not automatically proof of dishonesty. Investigate vehicle history and security interests.
Condition and future work
Separate cosmetic flaws from safety faults and expensive maintenance. Ask an inspector about the drivetrain, cooling system, corrosion and work likely soon. Low kilometres alone do not establish good condition, and a recent service does not cover every possible defect.
Price and agreement
Compare full prices with immediate work and running costs included. Get promises in writing. Confirm the actual contractual seller for any partner vehicle. Keep enough budget for ownership after the sale, including insurance and routine care.
Official information and further reading
Requirements can change. Check the linked authority before completing paperwork or relying on a driving entitlement.
General information, not a vehicle inspection or confirmation of stock. Budget examples are planning figures. Current prices and availability must be confirmed.
