Tell Raj how the vehicle is used
Include the model, engine, kilometres and typical work: short journeys, longer road trips, towing or farm access. Bring records for recent oil, filter and driveline work. The vehicle’s actual maintenance schedule matters more than a generic package advertised for every diesel.
Separate maintenance from a fault
A booked service may not resolve a warning light, difficult starting or loss of power. Describe these concerns in advance and ask whether diagnostic time should be included. If there are emissions-system warnings, supply the exact message and previous repair history; specialist assessment may be needed.
Plan around working time
Agree the appointment, expected assessment time and who can approve additional work while you are busy. Ask for an itemised quote and confirm parts availability. Farm-operated utes can also be discussed through our farm maintenance pages, including whether a nearby mobile visit is practical.

How much will it cost?
Pricing depends on the vehicle or machine, diagnosis, parts and agreed labour. Ask for the inspection charge, an estimate or quote for the proposed work, and the process for approving anything additional. An online enquiry is not a confirmed appointment.
